Find music for your lessons

November 27, 2007

Now you can find music for your singing lessons the easy way. Go to www.singerspot.com and click on music for singers. There you will find categories for each of the four main voice types, a collection of books for children and as well as one for changing voices. There are also collections for different styles of singing such as Pop, Karaoke and Broadway.

Most of the collections under the four voice type categories are on the list for solo and ensemble and many of them have accompaniment CD’s. I find that these are great for making practicing more fun.

You can find your favorite show tunes or even a book of songs from your favorite musical in the musical theatre area. Plus there is a link to find Music Minus One recordings. These are great tracks that allow you to practice along with a professional sounding orchestra.  If you close your eyes you can pretend you are standing on the stage at the Met.

Did you forget to order a song for your lesson and you need it today? Not a problem. There is a link to find sheet music that you can download and print directly from your computer. Lesson saved!
